Tea Time

Victoria day is also known as May Two-Four, May long weekend, it is a Canadian holiday on the Monday preceding May 25.  We celebrated with fireworks, a barbecue with family & friends, & we spent time in the gardens. 

My husband was busy staining the deck while I planted our new pink rose bushes and lavender in the gardens.  I can't wait for my roses to bloom so I can make pretty bouquets for indoors.  We didn't get the vegetable garden done b/c we went on a road trip to visit family & friends.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous.  We couldn't have asked for nicer weather.  How did you spend your weekend?

Today I spent the afternoon taking photo's outdoors and a few inside.  I bought a new teacup with Lily of the Valley design.  Lily of the Valley has such a beautiful aroma and delicate clusters of white flowers.  I have some in my garden to share today.
