Happy Mother's day

I'd like to wish all the Mom's in blog-land a very special Mother's day!  May your day be blessed with the love of family & friends.


This year for Mother's day I am going to the garden center to get some flowers for my garden with my husband.  I will wait and plant them next weekend when the weather is warmer.  We are having dinner out then going to see a live country band for Mother's day.  How are you spending your day with your family?

Magnolia Cottage Gardens

This afternoon I set up a tea party in my garden.  My friend Peggy from next door came over and we enjoyed some chamomile tea and tea cookies while watching my chihuahua's chase each other around the yard. I am sharing some photo's of the garden tea party today!

I enjoy the lovely scent of my lilac bush just outside my dining room and bedroom window.  My lilac bush has been attracting these beautiful butterflies.
