Memorial Service

Sorry I missed my posts this week. My father-in-law passed away and it has been a very emotional week.
My father -in-law served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an airplane mechanic and instructor before retiring in 1974 and coming home to Oil Springs. He then worked for Air Ontario in Sarnia and London. Later he owned his own business teaching airplane mechanics. He was a volunteer firefighter in Oil Springs for 30 years, sat on the council of the Village of Oil Springs, and was active with the Oil Springs United Church. Glen loved to spend time with his family and loved playing golf.

We had a beautiful service in remembrance of my father-in-law, celebrating his life. Reverend Jim White did a wonderful job performing a special service .   The Royal Canadian Legion conducted a memorial service.  The Royal Canadian Air Force and the Oil Springs Fire department paid there respects.   My father-in-law was a wonderful man and loved by all his friends and family.  We will cherish our memories forever.

Thanks for your patience & kindness.  I will be back real soon.
