Life as we Know it!

It was a very busy summer and I didn't get a chance to do any blogging.  We went up north for our holidays and spent lots of time together canoeing in Algonquin park, atving throughout the muddy trails in haliburton, biking and hiking through Algonquin park.  We went horseback riding along trails and enjoyed the beautiful countryside in Hunstville.  My kids are back in school now.  My daughter is in grade 12 and working part-time at McDonald's to save for part of her tuition for teacher's college and my son has began his first year at Master's College &Seminary in Peterbourgh which is approximately 4.5 hours away.  He came home for a short visit and has since returned to his studies.  His next visit will be for thanksgiving.  My daughter has saved up for driver's ed and starts learning to drive in October. Now we are starting to feel the cooler  weather approach and enjoying the last days of warm weather.  I have been busy with my home and working which keeps me busy these days.  We  moved my son to Peterborough  and my daughter moved her bedroom down stairs so I will be painting her old bedroom soon.  I have been vintage shopping and found some beautiful teapots, teacups and white doilies to display on the shelves in the dining room.  I found a royal albert teapot for 6 dollars and to buy it new you would pay 60 dollars so it was a great find.  I love searching for awesome deals.  The thrill of the find is so worth it!  Today I am enjoying the outdoors and working in the gardens as my dogs play in the yard.  I plan on having dinner in the gazebo tonight.
